MOESTA SERVICE: Pellet sensor problem – "Refill Pellets" message even though the hopper is full

What is the problem?

When first using the MOESTA Sheriff Pellet Grill, fine dust may settle on the infrared sensor in the pellet hopper. This incorrectly triggers the message "Refill Pellets" – even though the hopper is already full.

How to fix the problem

Try to carefully expose the sensor with the spatula and then gently wipe it clean. In most cases, this will solve the problem immediately.
