Pizza Peel No. 1 – The lightweight aluminum pizza lifter by MOESTA-BBQ

The No. 1 pizza peel makes home baking even more comfortable. A high-quality and robust wooden handle and easy-to-clean aluminum guarantee optimal handling at your pizza oven. The Moesta-BBQ pizza lifter has a stainless steel hanging hook on the wooden handle. This allows the pizza peel to be stored practically in the kitchen or on the kettle or gas grill.

Thanks to its large surface of 305 x 355 mm, the pizza shovel can also be used to easily prepare numerous other dough products such as bread, focaccia, and tarte flambée. Getting the pizza onto and off the pizza stone is a challenge. The pizza lifter with a wooden handle makes things easy for pizza lovers.

With the pizza peel, pizzas can be comfortably moved into and out of the stone oven, regular oven, or kettle grill, even at high temperatures. The pizza shovel is an essential accessory for baking or grilling homemade pizzas.

A long handle on the pizza shovel is always an advantage. This keeps your hands far enough away from the hot grill or pizza oven. You are safer from burns, as temperatures of approx. 250 to 350°C are necessary for baking pizza on a grill. The longer the handle, the more unstable the shovel often is. Here, a good balance between length and stability is important. We place great importance on optimal workmanship.

Small tip for beginners:To avoid having to slide the raw pizza onto the pizza shovel, simply lay it flat on the table and prepare the pizza directly on the shovel. Beforehand, sprinkle the pizza peel with a little flour or semolina, then the pizza will slide off better. But be quick! Because the tomato sauce will soak through and the dough will stick to the aluminum.
